YMCA PRE-COMPETITIVE SWIM CLASS
Stingrays is our pre-competitive swim class, the perfect on-ramp for aspiring competitive swimmers ages 6-13 years old! During our 6-week session, we will focus on refining technique, building endurance and speed and introducing participants to the exciting world of competitive swimming.
Stingrays sessions follow the 2025 Session dates
Program fees: Members - $120, Non-member - $240

Yarrow Family YMCA
Monday/Wednesday 6pm - 6:45pm
Wednesday/ Friday 4pm - 4:45pm

HORIZON SWIMMING
SWIM TEAM
Swimmers will be evaluated on all four competitive strokes:
- Freestyle
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Butterfly
To be considered for the team, swimmers must:
- Swim 25 yards (one length) of Freestyle proficiently
- Swim 25 yards (one length) of Backstroke proficiently
- Breaststroke and Butterfly are not required, but are evaluated for upper levels of the team
Ages: 6 - 12
YMCA membership varies by location- you do not need to be a member to tryout.
